Xavier John Richardson is the author of Soul in the Fold (due out 2025), a James Alan McPherson Finalist. He is a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellow. His stories and essays have been published in The Idaho Review, Five Points, Joyland, StoryQuarterly, Harpur Palate, and others. A former Welfare Caseworker, Xavier continued serving the public as a midlevel employee with two Federal Agencies.
