Dr. Steffen is an associate professor of physics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He studies the properties of distant exoplanets and planetary systems, and has experience in particle astrophysics, cosmology, and gravitation. He was a long-time member of the science team for NASA’s Kepler mission where he co-chaired one of the scientific working groups. Dr. Steffen is also known for his work on airplane passenger boarding.
