Levy Rozman was a chess prodigy from a young age. At age twelve, he was the second-highest rated junior in the United States (behind now-GM Daniel Naroditsky). Levy achieved the National Master title in 2011 and the International Master title in 2018. Beginning in 2018 with his Twitch stream and, by late 2021, Levy became the most popular chess teacher on the internet. His YouTube channel Gotham Chess has more than 1.3 million subscribers, his Gotham City YouTube channel (100k followers). Levy’s commitment to making chess fun and accessible has recently led to donate $100k to scholastic chess.
