Delroy Lindo is an actor, director, and producer with a career that spans almost thirty years. He is the recipient of the New York Film Critics Circle Award, the Hollywood Critics Association Award, the Peabody Award, the NAACP Image Award, and several others. He has also been nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award, the Critics Choice Award, a Tony Award, and several others. Lindo will star opposite Mahershala Ali in the forthcoming Blade movie for Marvel Studios. He recently headlined Neil Gaiman’s limited series Anansi Boys for Amazon and starred in Hulu’s Unprisoned opposite Kerry Washington. Lindo received tremendous critical acclaim for his performance in Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods for Netflix and reteamed with the studio on The Harder They Fall. He also starred on CBS’s The Good Fight, for which he received a Critics’ Choice Awards nod. In addition to his previous collaborations with Spike Lee on Crooklyn, Clockers, and Malcolm X, Lindo has delivered memorable performances in David Mamet’s Heist, Lasse Hallstrom’s The Cider House Rules, Ron Howard’s Rasnon, Jerry Bruckheimer’s Gone In 60 Seconds, Barry Sonnenfeld’s Get Shorty, and Pixar’s UP!, amongst many others.
